Client Challenges
SGS Economics and Planning is a leading firm committed to shaping sustainable places, communities, and economies through expert policy advice.
As they expanded their operations, they needed an office fitout that matched their vision of being a college of professionals. Their goal was to create a space that not only fostered collaboration but also conveyed their expertise and authority in the field. They required custom solutions to support various activities, from hosting large conferences to providing quiet spaces for focused work. With a need for flexible, functional, and stylish furniture, the fitout had to reflect both their professionalism and commitment to sustainability.
Our solution
Working closely with Zircon Interiors, we delivered a truly bespoke furniture solution that blended functionality with design elegance.
For SGS, we provided custom joinery and workstations that complemented the firm’s sophisticated ethos. A key feature of the space is the reception desk, which is equipped with wheels for easy mobility, allowing it to be repositioned for large conferences and events in the breakout area. Quiet rooms were included to support focused work and provide moments of respite.
The Opal Loop workstations were selected for their timeless design, with custom worktops offering ample space at the ends of each pod for added comfort and functionality. Custom tables, lunch chairs, task chairs, and pedestals were also provided to complete the fitout, ensuring a cohesive and professional environment. The result is a workspace that not only meets SGS’s practical needs but also reinforces their reputation as leaders in the field of economics and planning.
