Client Challenges
Atherton’s, a respected five-generation family business and global leader in infection control solutions, set out to establish a new head office in Thornbury, VIC.
With deep roots in tradition and a forward-looking focus on innovation, they needed a workspace that struck the perfect balance between simplicity, elegance and long-term functionality. Their goal was clear: to create an environment that would support their growing team, reflect the quality of their brand and allow their business operations to run efficiently without overcomplicating the space. The challenge lay in designing a layout and furniture solution that felt refined and timeless, yet entirely practical for the day-to-day needs of their industry-leading team.
Our solution
We worked closely with Atherton’s and our in-house design team to ensure every element of the layout and product selection aligned with their vision.
From the outset, the emphasis was on creating a space that felt calm, cohesive and considered. Once the design was locked in, we delivered a full suite of commercial furniture including Ambassador Desks, Ergo Workstations, versatile storage solutions and comfortable soft seating.
The result is an office space that feels sophisticated without being overstated. Practicality was never compromised, with each piece selected for its durability and performance in a fast-paced work environment. At the same time, attention to visual flow, finishes and spatial harmony helped us create a workspace that feels open and inviting. The finished office offers a lasting foundation for productivity and collaboration, an environment where Atherton’s team can thrive for years to come.
